1. Free By-Product Materials

Materials are supplied free of charge as a by-product of tree services and are provided 'as is'. No

guarantees are given regarding type, quality, condition, suitability, or fitness for purpose. Materials

may include mixed species, green wood, insects, fungi, mould, thorns, weeds, and natural debris.

2. Delivery & Property Access

You confirm you have authority to accept delivery and grant access to the property. The delivery

area must be clearly marked and capable of supporting heavy vehicles. We are not responsible for

damage caused by reasonable access or unloading, except where caused by our negligence. You

are responsible for identifying underground utilities or hazards.

3. Assumption of Risk

Handling and storing wood chips and firewood involves inherent risks including cuts, splinters, lifting

injuries, exposure to mould or allergens, fire risk, and plant-related skin reactions. All use and

storage is at your own risk.

4. Limitation of Liability

Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability

that cannot legally be excluded under UK law. Subject to this, we are not liable for indirect or

consequential losses arising from delivery or use.

5. Firewood & Environmental Compliance

Unprocessed firewood may be green or unsuitable for immediate burning. You are responsible for

compliance with smoke control and environmental regulations.

6. Data Protection & Privacy (UK GDPR)

We collect personal data including name, address, email, telephone number

Processing is based on performance of a contract and legitimate interests under UK GDPR. Data is used only to administer the delivery programme, marketing and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data. You have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to processing, and to complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).

7. Right to Refuse or Cancel

We reserve the right to refuse, delay, or cancel delivery where access is unsafe or unsuitable.

sure, we could process our by-products and sell them for profit, but that means we have to move it further, store it and then process it, all of which uses more fuel and energy, the less we have to move the better for the environment.

No. The wood will be unprocessed and cut into sections that is manageable for us to lift, it will require, cutting, splitting and drying more often than not. if you require firewood processing we can offer this service for a charge.

woodchip is great for landscape gardening, such as pathways and garden flower bed mulch. it can also be dug in to veg plots to add organic matter and improve soil quality. Sometimes it is used for animals/livestock, chickens particually love woodchip.

This is a free service that has been developed to reduce travel and thefore environmental impact. we will deliver to whoever we are working closest to and there is no guarentee of who, where and when that is.

yes, we will contact you prior to delivery to ensure you still want the wood. and discuss particulars such as where you would like us to drop it off.
